My skin is pale

As the moon at night

Drained of colour

Devoid of light

My veins run cold

Like icy strips

In this darkness

I find my dreams

The pale rose

My only disguise

Your beauty is hidden

Behind the skies

I wrap myself

In blackest clothes

A shroud of sadness

My soul to froth

The world the shun me

They cast me out
