Daniel's Prayer

Oh Lord, the great and everlasting God

Who keeps His word and His covenant

With those who truly obey

And with those who love Him

We have been wicked, we have rebelled

We did not listen to Your servants

Who tried to show us Your heart

We have sinned

We’ve done wrong

Oh, holy God

Worthy of all praise

We don’t deserve Your grace

We’ve turned our hearts away

Help us return

Look on this ruined wasteland

Breathe life into this sand

Wash us clean again, make us whole

Make us holy

Lord, I beg You, please don’t delay

We repent, we’ve disobeyed

We are open and shamed

Will You clothe us in Your Name?

Back to the place where we made our vow

Before we let You down

Your children need You now
