Bear bear in a cave

He can sleep, sleep all day

When he sleeps he likes to dream

Dreams of things that he can be

One day he had a dream that he was a zebra!

Hey hey look at me

I'm a zebra in the breeze

I can gallop here or there

I can gallop anywhere

Hey hey look at me

Wait a minute, I'm a bear!

And the bear woke up and went- huh?

I must have been dreaming

And he fell back asleep

One day he had a dream he was a shark!

Hey hey look at me, I'm a shark with shark teeth

I can swim here or there, I can swim anywhere

Hey hey look at me, I'm a monkey in a tree

I can swing here or there

I can swing anywhere

Then he heard a crack

Remembered one fact

That he was a bear you see

And in his dream he broke the tree!

And the bear woke up and went- huh?

And he fell back asleep

Slept for months without a dream

And when he woke up it was spring

And he stretched his arms

And he walked outside and rubbed his eye

He took a nice breathe in and let it out

Another nice breath in, and let it out

And he looked all around

He saw the monkey in the tree

Saw the bird with her wings

He saw the zebra in the breeze

And on the coast he saw something

It was the shark in the sea

Everything as it should be
