I saw my first spring break when I was 14 years of age

That boardwalk showed me living with no regrets

San Diego is somehow burned into my bloodstream

Cause I've tried and tried but somehow I

can't forget

Later on in Tijuana, I found myself a prima donna

That's the place I learned to place all of my bets

High as heaven, thanks to legal marijuana

Though my boys preferred the pills inside their vests

But they taught me how to say that with my chest

So pour me a coffee but listen to these words of wisdom

I think I finally stopped smokin' cigarettes

When my brother bit the dust, he didn't fight, he didn't fuss

But I cried and cried when we laid him down to rest

And there's no one that I held with more respect

I'm my father's only son, but he's got five more other children

But if they were me, then these words would all make more sense

Got so many passions, that sometimes I can't contain them

So I used to think I suffered from Tourette's

Don't want your money, I'm just singing what I've been through

But I wouldn't mind to pay off all my debts

A poor man's Chevrolet is just no way to spend your pay

But as a child I always wanted a Corvette

And then I bought myself a white Mustang instead

Why can't we see a fuckin' good thing till it's gone

My dog was my best friend, that was no pet

Haven't spoke to my old friends, you could say it's been a minute
