Good Thing Goin'

Well I was working on the whitecaps wiped out where I was

Jelly and Jazz they served a sweater vest up

And I went down to the country store

Cruising down the road with a head full of lead

Been a gosh darn while since I've seen a bed

And I went down to the hotel store

Bargained for a bit of trouble really hit the spot

Dropped my pocket in the parking lot

And I went down to the police store

I was going so quick I lost my hat in the wind

The world coming at me grabbed it under the brim

On my way down to the gas pump store

Every once in a while

I will smile and I'll really grin

Troubles, burdens, struggles, joys

Put a beard right on my chin

Speckled stone rock got stuck in my shoe

Hope I'll finally gain an inch or two

And I went down to the airplane store

Filled up fuel in my pedal bike

I ain't got no motor, still flies like a kite

And I went down to the depot store
