Slept on the floor again

I can't remember when I ever felt the comfort of my bed

First one up to greet the sun, I sit and wait for everyone

And feel the farthest that I've felt from dead

Load in times and parking fines and strangers offering me lines

I'm happy I can say I had it all

The biggest thing I've ever done, but in my life I've never felt so small

The rain is blowing sideways

We pull off of the highway to break a cardinal sin inside a Sheetz

Started catching subtle signs while drifting over county lines

The life I lead will soon be obsolete

See myself in a new way as I'm dragged through another day

Of loading up a van in Montreal

I've never been so short of breath, but in my life I've never felt so tall
