My life was once a tangled web of sin

I had no joy; no real peace within

I drifted on the sea of misery

Until the day He showed His love to me

 

I often ask myself the reason why

That Jesus suffered for me, bled and died

He walked up the path of Calvary

It was all because He showed His love to me

 

My heart was stirred, I’ll never be the same

My life was changed, my plans were rearranged

I’m goin’ live for Him because He died for me
