Bleeding mournfully upon the pages

Invoking horror that comes to life

A sunless dirge upon December's woe

Singing its hymns of eternal sorrow

Bereavement bestowed be this cruel world

The bottle now beckons the soul

With long intervals of horrible sanity

Indulging excess seeking solace

I rid this burden of reality

Contemplating tragedies of lifeless depravity

Portraying my fateful demise

Suffocating from the ashes

Smoldering, burying, condemning every part of me

In life and death forever bent to self-destruct

A slave shackled to inebriation

Within the confines of these walls

I Sentence myself to oblivion

Encumbering by those memories of

A festering past long forgotten

Wretched amidst is the dismal silence

Mirroring my internal destruction

Benighted swiftly spiraling into blackness
