Im blessed

Woke up today with this renewed hope

Life looking like it's an upward slope

My faith in Jesus got me feeling dope

The father dressed me in a brand new robe

Never would of thought that I was this gifted

My outlook of myself it was so twisted

You were the one that opened up my vision

Went and sent me on this beautiful mission

I believe you when you say your the light

Came into my life and everything got bright

Your faithfulness it always has me in awe

All my trauma had me lost in the sauce

Bitterness and pain my heart was on frost

Then the Lord Jesus wiped away the stain

That had me thinking everyday it would rain

You always help me to get rid of my pride

Everyday when I mess up I get frustrated

It really be making me feel so deflated

But then I get right back into your word

And it reminds me how really absurd

It is to think that you would ever leave me

Everytime that I confess you receive me

You really love me everyday you show me

There's nothing I could do to make you disown me

I used to walk around with so much shame

I would think back and put all of the blame

On myself it would drive me so insane

Mistakes of my past put me thru so much pain

Thought to myself nobody would accept me

I coulda sworn for sure the Lord would reject me

But you never move like that your love is consistent

Despite all my flaws your protections persistent

That's why I go so hard I'm on a mission

In obedience to the Great Commission

Jesus is Lord it ain't up for debate

When I mess up I put hope in his grace

He gave me the gift to make all of these songs

Raised me from a baby and he made me strong

So when it comes time I'm gonna stand tall

Pointing to the one who is my brick wall

He giving me all of this love that's for sure

So he's always gone get all of the praise

Lifting my hands cause he has me amazed
