Dread

Between the space of sleep

And wakefulness

I have become

Your sleep paralysis

Sifting through the blackened veils

Roaming through the murky seas

Searching for the ones unscathed

For they have much to lose

Spirit of righteousness

Visit the souls that crawl

Darkness shall be their friend

Cleanse them of delusion

Follow the voice of the one who calls

Evaporate into the astral plane

Fall away into the mare of night

Open the eyes of the blinding light

Frigid as the air that cuts my skin

Surrounded by the mist of emptiness

Eternal moment as I lie awake

The fear subsides for now I breathe again
