Trophies

I walk a path of shadows, where the echoes never fade,

Each scar a silent story, a price that I have paid.

  

They gleam like silver trophies, but weigh me down inside,

Memories of battles lost, where hope and dreams collide.

Trophies of suffering, they shine but cut so deep,

I wear my pain like a crown of thorns,

Collecting shadows, I walk alone,

Trophies of sorrow, my heart\'s heavy stone.

I reach for a glimmer, a spark to light my way,

But the shadows keep on calling, dragging me to stay.

I know there’s hope beyond this, a chance to break free,

But these trophies of suffering keep holding onto me.

Trophies of suffering, they shine but cut so deep,
