Some days the road I'm drivin' seems to never end

Everybody wants me goin' their way

But I can't go on as if nothin's wrong like they want me to

So I'm switchin' off and goin' dark today

I just gotta get lost, forget about the cost

Lose myself to the open road

Rid myself of this heavy load

That's draggin' me down, so down

I don't wanna be found, gonna head underground

To find the man that I used to be

Laugh the way that's inside of me

Instead of spinnin' around, around

I just gotta get lost, I just gotta get lost

A road you've never been on clears your thoughts away

Doesn't matter where you're goin' or why, no, no

Then you see some girl who could change your world in the setting sun

And know that somethin' brought you there to try

We just gotta get lost, forget about the cost

Lose ourselves to the open road

Rid ourselves of these heavy loads

Draggin' us down, so down

We just gotta get lost, we just gotta get lost

Somewhere down a lost road's where we'll find ourselves

By listenin' to our hearts and not our minds

The truth will find us somehow if we let it come

Cause the harder we keep lookin, the harder it'll be to find

We just gotta get lost, forget about the cost

Lose ourselves to the open road

Rid ourselves of these heavy loads

Draggin' us down, so down

We don't wanna be found, let's head underground

Find the happy we used to be

Laugh the way that we oughta be

Not spinnin' around, around

We just gotta get lost, we just gotta get lost

We just gotta get lost, we just gotta get lost

Gotta get lost, gotta get lost
