He's basically teaching how the entire Bible is veiled

And you need to get eyes to see to really understand what God is saying

He quotes Isaiah

Jesus said, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear

At least they turn with their hearts and repent, and I would heal them

Here's Jesus saying, if my people will get eyes to see and ears to hear, I'll heal them

As a matter of fact, the Jews, when we teach the Bible as a historical book

That's the very lowest level of teaching the Jews will tell you

The highest level that you can teach the Bible through is through the mysteries the Jews say

It's called Sod level of teaching

We need to get up into the Sod

So are you telling me I can't just read the Bible literally like a history book

But there's deeper things that I got to seek out
