I hear the sound

Of a mighty rushing wind

And it's closer now

Than it's ever been, ooh, ooh

I can almost hear the trumpet

As Gabriel sounds the call, ooh, ooh

And at the midnight cry

We'll be going home

When Jesus steps out (Ooh)

On a cloud to call His children, oh, oh (Ooh)

The dead in Christ shall rise, yeah (Ooh)

To meet Him in the air, oh, oh (To meet Him in the air)

And then those that remain, ooh (Ooh)

Shall be quickly changed, yeah, yeah, in a moment, oh yeah

And at the midnight cry (And at the midnight cry)

We'll be going home

(Oh yeah)

And I look around of me

I see the prophecies fulfilled everywhere

And the signs of the times (Signs of the times), oh yeah

They're appearing everywhere, oh, oh, oh

I can almost hear the Father (Oh)

As He says, "Son, gather My children," ooh

And at the midnight cry

Oh, when Jesus steps out (When Jesus steps out)

On a cloud to call His children (To call His children)

The dead in Christ shall rise (Rise)

To meet Him in the air (I wanna meet Him in)

(I wanna meet Him in, I wanna meet Him in the air)

Oh, then those that remain (Then those, those that remain)

Shall be quickly changed, they be changed in a moment, huh, oh, oh (Ooh)

And at the midnight cry (And the midnight cry)

Oh, at the midnight cry (The midnight cry)

And at the midnight cry, we'll

We'll be going home
