가사

"The white line is the lifeline of the nation - you bet it is!
When you bear in mind that practically all consumer goods come to us at least part-way by truck, it comes no surprise that more than two million trucks are on the road at any given hour of the day or night. As these lonely knights of highway roll across the lonely miles, they are in constant need of information as the road conditions, traffic hazards, or just plain companionship. Citizens Band radio has become the medium through which they exchange information that helps them to a faster, safer, less lonely journey
A side effect of the widespread use of these "ol' CB" is the creation of a new American jargon. The most commonly used ten signals are ten-four, which means "affirmative, I understand." "Ten-one - receiving poorly," "ten-two - receiving well," "ten-three means - I've stopped transmitting." Ten-twenty is "my location is..."
Some of the more unknown uses are "ten-sixty two - the boss man broke my frickin' head." Ten-eighty three is "I'll crack a baseball bat across your frickin' teeth." One of the other ones not used generally is number ten-one-oh-nine - "that waitress threw a steaming hot cup of coffee on my frickin' face." And the rarely used ten-forty-nine - "she's gone Gongwipdu"
We hope this will increase your appreciation of the songs on this record, and give you a glimpse into the working lives of this special breed of American, who contributes so much to our daily lives. Let the truckers roam!
-Ten-four
