Long Way to Huntsville

I’ve been staring at these four walls for four years now

Still got a ways to go before they let me out

And it seems like a lifetime since I walked into this place

Shackles on my hands my feet and shame on my face

And it’s a long way to Huntsville

But here I am stuck in this hell

Yeah a 45 got me here

So the only thing quick about jail was gettin’ here

See I was planning what seemed to be the perfect life

‘til I caught another man in bed with my wife

And I said as I heard that old hammer click

I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by six

But it’s a long way to Huntsville

And here I am stuck in this hell

Yeah a 45 got me here
