Watching the sun go down, don't know where I've been or where to go

Lost on the streets of my own town, this road I used to know

This town at night has a funny sound, I hear the wind blow

Streets lights red but no cars around, nothing but a red glow

I feel like I've been walking on a tight rope

Red light at the end of the road

And I've been sitting for a minute waiting for it to turn green

Left or right? I don't know where I'm turning

I remember dumb fights, bus rides, lotta fun times

Late nights staying up until the sunrise, sometimes

I just wish I had it all back.

Like when we played tetherball at my cul-de-sac

But now that ball's gone and they don't call Shaun

I can't help to feel like I got it all wrong

At the same spot, watching the sun set

I think about how I'm still not enough yet

Wondering if I will ever find the time where I can feel at home again

And I don't know why I've been feeling down, yeah I've been feeling low again

I've been wishing skipping stones, down the same old lake I used to know

I've lost all sense of where to go but it hasn't always been like this though

As a kid I loved to play outside I've had the same best friends since before I was five

We ruled the world from our back yard taking down bad guys with our plastic swords

But soon I learned that plastic meant fake and that the world wasn't all that great

I'm looking at the stars bouncing off this lake can't help to think did I make a mistake

Wondering if I will ever find the time where I can feel at home again
