Morbid Fascination

Fortunate and blessed by the light

He was born and raised protected

There were no indicators, that could have shown

That his heart had been infected

It took some time to finally accept his different passion

And even more time to realize, his morbid fascination

He keeps on trying to resist, but he would lose the game

Another day, another time, another sense – and mindless crime

Another night, another dawn, another man will carry on

No animal would ever think of killing just for pleasure

But mankind seems to disrespect, each life’s a boundless treasure

The worst of all is, that we’d never see the bigger picture

Most leaders of this world will always follow their addiction

They’ll decide and we will never change this crazy game
