Raised a lazy Catholic

Moving him with guilt and sin and double chins

To gilded palaces or pens

Still someone had to die for him

A dirty job, the applicants

Were thin enough in lineage

I didn’t want to deal with it

Granted I was ten, due diligence

For serving anger to a kid

Who couldn’t win but didn’t quit

Just wouldn’t set his mind to it

If evolution came to him

It was passed along by greater men
