Everyone around me seems so hateful Evil still exists inside of angels Never knew that life could be so painful Don't know who to trust I'm an angel Looking at my childhood I never thought I'd make it this far My teachers said I'd be a fuckup Or I'd live behind bars Caught a couple cases So they're guesses wasn't that far off I changed my ways God paved a way To help erase all them scars No new faces so please don't walk up tryna act like we friends I only ride for my family I'll claim that shit till the end Keep a cross by my bed Hoping by night my sins are erased But Southside raised a Demon Now my soul is up for the take Everyone around me seems so hateful Evil still exists inside of angels Never knew that life could be so painful Don't know who to trust I'm an angel Father forgive me for the sins that I'm about to commit My family tryna turn me opp just cuz I'm going legit On the right path but still my demons own my mentality Insomniac since a youngin I never get any sleep Instead I lay in bed And ask myself the questions of life How long I got until the big guy takes my life outta spite? How long I got until I lose another part of my soul? How long I got until a brother sees the pressure and folds?
