Thanks for Everything

Every single promise that I ever made Ended in one of two ways: Either broken or thrown right back in your face. I promise but what's a promise anyway? Well it's true what they say, You don't know what you have until it's gone. I said it once and I'll say it again, Sorry Love, but I just can't move on. The hardest part about making something disappear Is bringing it back, But it's just too late for that. This is what I get for making decisions when I'm mad. I'd take it back, I take it back. I never thought that it would hurt this bad. I realized it's not what I have, but what I had. My other half My better half You were the best I ever had. All I wanted was to give it back. I just wanted to make you laugh, But now you can see the joke's on me. I always thought an evergreen couldn't lose a single leaf, But together we watched the last one fall from this tree. You were always there for me. You were my everything. The one from my dreams. I was never good with goodbyes, I'm dying inside. I have to live with this for the rest of my life.
