A simple choice

When you consider what it means to end a life

With thoughts, feelings and a soul

But we take without thought because we have the control

Mercy - it's yours to give

And you decide who dies and lives

Voice of reason

Death, torture, captivity

Does this reflect humanity?

See how fast our ideals fold

When they're in the way of what we think we're owed

Life or death, it's your choice to make

And the blood on our hands is the blood on our plates.

Let your voice of reason be your guide your conscious telling you what's right to decide

Compassion guiding you to maintain the path of peace in a world gone insane

So listen

Voice of reason
