Things had turned out nothing like her childhood dreams at all

She knew she only had herself to blame

And when she came for water at Jacob’s well that day

I wonder if she had a feeling life was soon to change

But there she would encounter love she didn’t know existed

For when she met Your loving grace she could not resist it

 

Let me be the well where they come to find You

Let my spirit be a sweet oasis from their pain

Let Your living water flow so all the world would come to know

A Savior’s love beyond what words can tell

Give me words of comfort and of peace

And when their troubled minds are filled with questions let them see

That You’re the only Answer that they’re ever gonna need

And Lord if it’s alright with You I’d love to be a part of
