The fool takes the liberty to raise objections and contradictions against everything, his laughter is rebellion. Even where resistance seems impossible because the opponents and their violence are overwhelming, the clown kicks Goliath's shin. Over millennia and across all cultures, he has become such a figure in the great world theater: as a mischievous messenger of the gods Hermes or cultural hero Prometheus, as a fool of the Middle Ages, Till Eulenspiegel, Shakespeare's fools, Marx Brothers or Charlie Chaplin's tramp - the clown is an anthropological constant, it doesn't work without him.
The killer clowns take command everywhere.
