I go by the name Giddyup

Beyond the music

Boy

Million dollar dreams last night I had a conversation with scarlet sound and brodie told me things

I got million dollar dreams to own a couple of shows on Netflix

Living on an island off royalties

Check this he wants to move out to the uk

I told him okay let’s get this pay day

I’m sitting in a Honda Accord I’m wondering God when all my dreams I can never afford

these million dollar dreams i told Gregg I’m sorry

Yeah we fell out a couple of times but that brother got my back like a back pack

With gorilla glue on it

That’s just for the context to this story

Million dollar dreams

But I know you just noticed

I started rapping when I was 14

Last time I checked I am 27

Check my discography my street cred just gave birth to a child

And once we get scarlet a couple jobs we go japa

at least for a while

This industry no send pesin wey dey rap

I saw a music video of Erigga I thought it was wild

Like why isn’t he proud

See that’s a humble individual if that was me

You already know what I’m about

As it is I’ve got the industry on its knees

Begging me please don’t rap so we keep you on your knees

I rapped till I made friends of enemies we smoked a couple of trees

On to the next am a damager when it comes to these beats

I wanna be like Valo when i grow up

Timi kei taught me how to chop life man I gats show off

Raised in the black & red streets of port harcourt

Joy fit no dey but you go show love

Where I’m from it’s no love

They’re scared as fuck when I start rapping

Shit they’re scared as fuck in the board meetings

I’m just here laughing in the studio
