What do you tell yourself when you know what you're doing is detrimental

to every fragment of your mental, driving reckless like pushing a rental

Outlining my truths, like chalk and a stencil

So I'm writing these lines like there's blood inside of my pencil

Lines taking my time, my mind lacking what is essential

When love is involved good and evil they tend to wrestle

I'm the product of an environment where happiness has raised a white flag

It's what I had grown accustomed to so it was almost something that I need
