Advent of The Addled Envoys: Into The Black Sun

This is the unbecoming of all I know to be truth

Blinded by the yarns they spun leading me to profound obsoletion

Grasping at shadows praying to hinder the plot I helped to prolong and provide the consummation of mankind’s degradation

Guided by hands i thought crafted the clouds in skies

Occupy my flesh now a prisoner behind my own eyes

A calling to do thy bidding

Your will is my lifes sole purpose

I sacrificed myself for the promise eternal

Foolishly spread the sickness on the surface Speaking the serpent's tongue, questioning their worship as the curtain draws to reveal

The stars fall from the sky

The whispers they slither then you plead for your pathetic life

Forsake your own as their corpses splayed in the vermillion tides that drown the earth

I can’t believe the horror I’ve birthed

Wielding the weapons that’ll make them kneel at my feet

I hold your people hostage as you respond to the forbidden tongue

This mountain of corpses my throne

I carve my crown from your flesh as I revel in my new visage

Skies they glitter as they cry

Bathed in ichor the essence of life

Unimaginable terror takes shape in your sight

The world is consumed by one’s contagious visions

Galaxies swallowed the tales lie forbidden

The Fallen Star rises all creatures bow in submission

I’ve grown like roots in this station

Eons Accustomed to ingesting the cries of my kind in plight

as my new disease sweeps the feet of their nations

But I can’t help but feel a hint of remorse for I too have been used by the Gods as a tool

Countless lifetimes

I have heeded your call

Forsaking everything in every cycle I lose it all

I’m left pondering if my actions have meaning in your grand design

I’ll keep reciting your lines

as you guide me through the infinite corridor until we cross the gate
