Here I am stuck in the middle

Thought with age life would get more clear

Opened my eyes, somehow ended up here

Young and ambitious, from always thriving

To moving slow, staying inside and

Have to relearn how to be human

Makes me angry and sad

about things that I've had

No appreciation makes me mad

But I rise up

Face forward

Hope I won't fall

I want to run

Towards the sun

I don't know where the wind will blow

But I've got to go and move on

'Know it seems like it but time never stands still

You can tell by the wrinkles on my skin

My reflection changes bit by bit

Can't recall if I hate or like it

Makes me angry and sad

about things that I've had
