Here, she emerges from some warm cocoon

Of earl grey

And a rose in full bloom

Sip and steep in conversations

Belly laughs

The steam of passion unspoken

Legs in angles

And ankles crossing

Tangled in the mess of one another

We're all lingering in the back of someone's mind

In daydreams and fantasies

Of tangerines and clementines
