"Why don't you step right through these curtains? Don't hesitate, don't be shy"

Says a two-faced man with an eyepatch as we shoved our way inside

The room is electric, the shock hits your brain

But, sooner than expected, it all turns quite strange

I spent my last bit of money on a ticket to the freak show

I came here to witness the world down below

I want to laugh and point as I watch these freaks dance

Why is it me everybody keeps on staring at?

In come the clowns, there's thirty to a car

Their tortured melting smiles are falling to the floor

You know the clowns run the circus, they do it with an iron fist

'Cause every act has a purpose, and every plot needs a twist

The pyramid is tilting, it tumbles and tears apart

The stilt man is worthless, he's passed out, face-down at the bar

There's an elephant running 'round with a monkey on its back

While some fat man in a suit is counting his money by the stack
