Well, I was sittin' there alone, feelin' restless as can be

Figured I'd find a little comfort with just myself and me

Thought I'd try somethin' new, just to mix it up a bit

But little did I know, I was 'bout to take a hit

Didn't think too much about it, wasn't worried 'bout the aim

But then I miscalculated, and boy, that's when it came

Up it went, like a rocket flyin' through the air

Before I had a chance to duck, it caught me unaware

Oh Lord, what a load, right in my face

Never thought I'd end up in such a sticky place

I wasn't thinkin' straight, now I'm feelin' the shame

And I got no one but myself and my bad aim to blame

Now I've heard of folks with towels, or a sock to catch the fall

But me, I played it risky and didn't think it through at all

Didn't see it comin', no time to dodge or brace

Now I'm sittin' here in shock, wipin' it off my face

I tried to laugh it off, but man, it stung my pride

Wishing I could turn back time, find a place to hide

Lesson learned the hard way, on that awkward night

Next time I'll plan ahead, and aim a little right

Oh Lord, what a load, right in my face

Never thought I'd end up in such a sticky place

Should've been more careful, now I'm feelin' ashamed

Guess when you don't plan ahead, you've only got yourself to blame

Now every time I get the urge, I pause and stop to think

Rememberin' that fateful night, when I was on the brink

So fellas, take a lesson, don't go down this road

Make sure you know your angles, or you'll catch your own load

A moment of poor judgment I just can't erase

Next time I'll think ahead, and save myself the pain
