Now I feel minus eighteen

My hands shake, my heart misfires

This something I cannot name Is twisting my southern lands

Six weeks now since I got back Sailing in troubled waters

First I was a foliage

A summer cloud, a bird woman

The boy from top of the map Is a water hole

Where my brain oxidizes Oh my dashing muse

I need to find a good reason For your hazy corporeality

My power supply cannot come from that far

It can only be there, under my eyes, Close, at hand

I'm my own propeller, And for certain, a daredevil
