Stormy weather got me caught in Chi-town

I stuck the rental car behind a snowplow

When the drifts were 10 feet high

Salty slushy runnin’ down the sidewalk

Windy City at 11 o’clock

Lookin’ for a place that’s warm and dry

In the basement of a building I saw a light

Well inside the wine was flowin’

Outside it’s freezing cold

And I really had no other place to go

All of my misfortunes

Without a doubt I could say for certain

From across the bar she started flirtin’

Through the Cuban smoke and cabernet

She pulled me over to the velvet sofa

She didn’t waste her time with get to know ya’s
