Tossing the empty bottle off the starboard bow

I'm still aboard, but still it feels like drowning

I lost my compass, so careless and over used

The stars above are guiding, while I still feel devastated

The very stars that created me I so too have created

They point to a horizon uncertain but so clear

Had I not loved and lost my compass, I'd not have made it here
