We've been running for so long

 I can barely feel my bare feet on the asphalt (grass).

I can't see, but you say there'll be a hotel sign any minute now.

So, I keep running.

My legs move nonstop, even though it has been the most never-ending serene on the sky, and my pupils wouldn't be used to sun, if they ever saw one.

It feels like stepping over air, while falling again, and again, from the high sheer clouds.

 My feather's floating in your ocean.

I have no good reason to trust you.

 You catch me, you release me then you catch me again.

I feel used.

 Ingrained into your cycle.

I infiltrate onto your dreams, hoping maybe then, only for a moment, you'd recognize my face, as the one that has been missing.
