The Great Bread Phenomenon

It's great to be here in Knoxville man

I love this town, great town

Great town, great state, Tennessee, the volunteer state

They can't make you live here

I'd love to be here in the South in the wintertime

I'm just glad they didn't predict snow today

Y'all wouldn't be here

We just run to the store and load up

Because Lord knows, it'll be snowed in for at least a day

Next day it melts, you got like 14 loaves of bread, man

You're walking around the cul-de-sac

Anybody wanna sign with?

I was working in the south one time with a buddy of mine

Born and raised in L.A., and it snowed

And he knew nothing of the big bread phenomenon

He didn't believe

I took him to the store, went to the bread aisle, gone

Everything was gone except for one pack of hot dog buns

So I grabbed them

Because you never know

That took me back to my childhood, though

You remember when your mom'd be late

You have to go to school the next day

With peanut butter and jelly and a hot dog bun?

You whip that out at lunch, your buddy's going

Man, you got a hot dog?

No, it's just peanut butter and jelly and a hot dog bun

There was like, "Your mom was late"
