Blooming

A child came down from the cloud He had no shoes and a flower crown Wings of (?), golden feathers A satchel holding all his letters He grabbed my hand, wiped my tears away Said I may not be perfect, but he'll guide me anyways I took a deep breath and closed my eyes When I looked up, I was being pulled through the sky, oh The weight on my chest went clear All my worries claimed to disappear The buildings and the crimes seemed so small The atmosphere wasn't easy, but I made it my new home Thank you, brain, for being here Thank you, lungs, for tolerating fear Thank you, mouth, for saying I'm getting better now I'm getting better now Drink the rain as it appears It's clean and all (?)
