wasp on a window stuck searching like a wasp on a window pane

this isn't right this trick of light

I want out so I search and try

find a door or some way through

I can not reach the world I knew

the walls have gone invisible

my thoughts become unthinkable

I feel the heat coming from the sun

my brain breaks when I come undone

into the air I should disappear

the world I know is so warm and near

there is no edge to the edge of time

no way to fool this mind of mine

I want to fly through the evergreens

instead I pace up and down the screen

the movie plays while the spotlight haze

makes my eyes explode makes my hope decay
