I Will Hold Him

The Angel came to Galilee To bring the news to young Mary That chosen by the Lord was she To bear the son of God. The Angel greeted young Mary, Fear not! The Lord hath favoured thee For in thy womb a baby Will become the son of God. Then Mary spake: How can this be, Since I am with virginity? Saith Gabriel to young Mary, Everything can with God. The Holy Ghost will come to thee, God's power will overshadow thee, The child you bear will be Holy, He is the son of God. The Holy Ghost will come to me, God's power will overshadow me, The child I bear will be Holy, He is the son of God. I am here, my Lord, prayed young Mary, Your humble servant let me be, I know my strength will come from Thee, I will hold Him as Thou holdest me.
