Driftwood

The most dangerous place I could be, is out of my mind and tossed in the sea. To swim through my thoughts and horrible dreams, and hope someone would save me. I can't remember the last time when, I knew which direction I was headed in or where I would begin. I get so far then it all looks the same. 'Cus I've been washed up, dried out, keepin' with the current some how. But I can't let this world push me around. I've been overlooked, misunderstood and passed by like driftwood. But I'm worth so much more than stuck on the shore, nowhere bound. Well I guess if I'mma do somethin' about it, there's no better time than now. There's no better time than now. The most dangerous thing you can do is let yourself go and drift your way through, cus if you get lost there's no one but you and then who can you turn to? Goodbyes and endless second thoughts, as you'll try to forget at any cost. 'Cus the choice was yours, but you can't go back the same way that you came.
