From there, Timbaland continued to flourish, suffusing Aaliyah's music with spacey ambience, helping introduce the world to Bubba Sparxxx, and making hits with the likes of Justin Timberlake ("Cry Me a River") and Nelly Furtado ("Promiscuous") as he crystallized his status as a chameleonic producer for the ages.
