Breathless

There's no need to hide anymore. If I didn't know you then, Well now I know for sure. We always struggle to survive, But now I've opened up my eyes. Really what was it, That I was expecting to find. I'm writing these letters to myself, Hoping I can be somebody else. Like a tidal wave, that washed away. Everything I've seen, Still breathing, heavy, heavy breathing. Choking on this familiar feeling. So release me like an anchor sinking freely. And I'm still trying to make some sense. As to why you had me hold my breath. I want to know for sure, I was wronged and I should of learned. That you're just as cold as the ice that burns. No one is as cold as you. No one is as cold as you.
