You're always waiting for me to lose Take 3 steps back and go down again You've always got something big to prove No time to say "How have you been?" I'm counting my fingers up to ten And when the count hits eleven I'll be out of the picture that you always imagined So now that we've settled scores I have found my place I've became something more Than a useless pawn on the board Sometimes you don't know where to go The space you need is out of your reach Sometimes it's the rips that you sew That piece you back again I've come a long way I'm still here today I Fought the demons that haunted my brain Ignore the loss, pay the cost, and advance so It's safe to say that I'm better than yesterday So won't you take this advice Learn a lesson from me I never wanted to be Anything less than all of your needs But you're just too much, too much, and I'm getting old You made me crack but I dug myself out the hole You're on your own And I'm unstoppable I took a shot in the right way I was alone Now I'm the carved stone Lead the way of the arrow I've found my way and I'm happy to believe That you were wrong and I'm better than yesterday
