We can't go back to where we start

As I look back I've gone through life carefree

Barring alcohol and drugs I've been happy-go-lucky

But still there were times of ignominy,

guilt, remorse, regret, and shame with fear and stress accompanying

I don't want to think about it.

Moving forward I'm living serenely. Be aware and act with care and let the things that happen be. Allow myself to try vulnerability, calmness, peace, let worry cease along with some tranquility.

Now I find that I'm entering year three and I try to remember I won't be defined by history
