My Hive

Well I already got a queen bee

And I love her so

I get all her honey

And I'll never let her go

And I've got multitudes of worker bees

To aid my cause

They serenade my queen

And help fix any fatal flaws

I've got colonies of seekers

I've got all the best beekeepers

It takes lots of little moves

To make this jive

But if you're just gonna hover

Like some drone who's undercover

There's no need for me to keep you by my side

I don't need an idle bee inside my hive

When I was starting out

I would take anyone like you

To just stand in a crowd

And maybe shake a hand or two

But now I've built a hive

And I have shelter from the storm

And any dead weight I can find

Is sure to feel my scorn
