Thought's from a Faraway Place

THOUGHTS FROM A FARAWAY PLACE

My mind isn’t here, or there,

In fact it could be anywhere,

You can tell from my face,

My thoughts from a faraway place.

Everywhere, just the same,

Sometimes life seems just a game,

I guess that’s just life’s pace,

All I can do is fall in disgrace.

I sometimes think I’m nowhere,

Don’t even think you can go there,

I’m up and I’m down, falling around,

How I wish I was going underground.

My mind isn’t here, or there,

In fact it could be anywhere,

You can tell by my face,

My thoughts from a faraway place

I’m in and out, back to front,

And if I put it, will be blunt,

Things don’t go right, they go wrong,

Nothing will change that, not even a song,

I’m not in despair, as why would I care,

My eyes are fixed, with a wide eyed stare,

I want to be hit by a boulder,

To knock this chip off my shoulder.
