I get so heavy every time I read the news and hear about what happened yesterday

There’s folks getting sick still, everybody’s hurtin

And it feels like things are never gonna change

 

It’s enough to make you wanna throw up your hands

Pack your bags and move far away

But what keeps me going and slowly trudging through the dark

Is knowing it won’t always be this way

And if we wait it out things will be ok

Everyone’s been stuck inside for months on end some have lost their jobs

Some have lost everything

And we’ve got two sides here who can’t seem to agree on anything
