And so you feel the earthy soil , breaking underneath your feet

When you slowly take off your shoes to step into the sea

To wash it all away, just for a tiny bit

The feeling of overdoing it creeps softly up on me

And the moment the water touches the skin, you start rethinking every choice that you made until today, you seem to question what has been and who you've lost along the way, you seem to question all that's been and who you wanted to be.

But also why it still seems gloomy while the years are passing by.

While the skin shows its first wrinkles every choice a little scar

as a reminder who you've been and all that happened to you, as a reminder who you've been and what has become of you so far.

I try to see it all more clear, recognize the walls that I have painted

The fact that they all needed to be aligned with the same colors, unable to redo

That is something I would like to overdo.

And some of us feel lost these days, we can't seem to find the exit to the house that we once designed

We lost track of what we dreamed of obsessed by making dreams alive.

But tell me what is left of us if we're not dreaming anymore of repainting every wall, of a drastic overdo,

To get back to ourselves when we feel that we've lost the key,

When the walls feel uncanny to me.

And while the blood-flow is making my feet tickle and my brain freeze, my voice shiver and my fists clench, it's almost too cliche to say it, but it's true
