Tekst Utworu

I walk along such a narrow road.
Psychic wars from the seeds they’ve sewn.
Your enemy could be your oldest friend.
But without a bridge between, tell me where does it end?
Let it bleed. We all want a version of truth.
Borrowing against your future pain.
You lose the moment and there’s nothing to gain.
Divided times and a deep fake soul, but without a shared reality, then where do we go?
Who will lead? My outrage is an inversion of you.
Shadows call, but we’re busy convincing ourselves.
Battles fall, toy soldiers back on the shelf.
I navigate the feelings every day.
Recalibrate the normal, hope it will change.
But hope is rationed off along with the norms.
It’s like a battle, will we weather the storms?
Saying please! And something vague about the freedom to choose.
There ain’t no sacrifice we’re willing to share.
Feelin’ persecuted, when was it fair?
Don’t wanna hear about your rights anymore.
Can’t even say our lives they matter, so your tears are a bore.
A disease, born lucky but you’re learning to lose.
As they cosplay civil war, to burn the whole world down.
Shadows call, the secrets we keep to ourself.
Battles fall, the fight that you seek’s in yourself.
Aren’t you tired of playing yourself?
And if the lord says what you done? You better tell ‘em I’m the seventh son.
And if the lord said, what you done? You better tell ‘em I’m the seventh son.
