i am a snake 

slithering on my belly 

i am the great, great one

living in her humility

i undulate

i shed my skin around midnight

twist my way upon the earth

and i am a firebird 

rising high in the sky

i am a firebird

turning day into night 

with wings of gold

my abilities are unheard of

and untold

i am a scorpion 

my sting is strong and penetratin'

i've been scorned upon

but i live long

everyone feels me

when they see me comin' on

i am an ancient scorpion

watch me burn and see me glow

i see all things

deep inside and on high

in the cosmic sky

like in a phoenix in the night 

watch my ashes glow

with these golden wings
